Michael Buchan started his culinary career in his home state of Michigan working for various corporate chains and hotels. In the early 2000's he moved to Arizona and shortly after marrying his wife Renee, Michael transferred Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs in Phoenix and quickly advanced to Sr. Sous Chef at the property's signature restaurant, Different Pointe of View. While helping maintain Different Pointe of View's reputation as Arizona's longest standing Four Diamond Restaurant, he was promoted to Chef de Cuisine for the Resort's three meal a day restaurant and its outlet facilities. In his free time, Michael loves exploring Washington and Oregon with his wife and 6 year old daughter Amelia.
